Yarns

Yarn shelves at House of Dapper Hollow favour fibres that wear well in Lithuanian seasons. We label meterage, suggested needle sizes, and care in English. Staff will swatch with you when colour decisions feel uncertain.

Sock yarns, sweater weights, and lace skeins each have their own bay. We avoid mystery cones without fibre content. Mill ends appear occasionally and are marked clearly as such.

Workshops participants receive a materials list before class; buying in-house is optional. Outside yarn is welcome if it matches the pattern gauge.

Gift cards are available at the desk. We do not run aggressive discount calendars — prices stay steady.

We refine our offerings each season based on what regulars request and what our space can support without crowding. Quality of attention matters more than expanding endlessly. If something is paused, we say so on the page rather than leaving outdated promises online.

Visitors often ask how to prepare for a first appointment: arrive a few minutes early, bring references if you have them, and share constraints openly. Clear conversation at the start prevents rushed decisions later and keeps the experience calm for everyone sharing the room.
